(09/24/12) MOUCHON, Daniel F., 80, of Hebert Street, West Warwick, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 22, 2012 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol.
He was the husband of Susan K. (Merrifield) Mouchon, they had been married for 38 years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Florent E. and Marthe (Battel) Mouchon. He was a resident of West Warwick for most of his life.
Mr. Mouchon was a rigger with General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division in Quonset for 18 years before retiring in 1994. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, an avid golfer where he was a long time member at Valley Country Club, a member of Club Frontenac, East Greenwich Veterans Fireman’s Club and enjoyed collecting coins.
Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Evelyn Colozzo of Coventry and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Florent L. “Flood” Mouchon, Paul J. “Teapot” Mouchon, Michael Mouchon and Robert Mouchon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery.
