(03/30/15) Lincoln – Elinor S. (Turner) Lepore, 90, of Angell Road, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasco Lepore.
Born in North Providence, a daughter of the late Norman and Mildred (Gregory) Turner, she had lived in Lincoln for over sixty years.
Mrs. Lepore was a 1946 graduate of the former Homeopathic Hospital, now Roger Williams Medical Center, with a degree in nursing, and worked as a registered nurse before retiring. She was a member of the Georgiaville Baptist Church, Smithfield, for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise Fleury and Carol Simanski, both of Lincoln; two sons, Steven Lepore of Lincoln, and Richard Lepore of Scituate; one sister, Janet Sherman of Lincoln; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Norma Johnson, and the sister of the late Norman Turner and Lois Winsor.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2, at 10:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
