Marie Antoinette (Jacques) Keshura 96, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Anne (Frigon) Jacques, passed away on 16 March 2015 at Country Gardens Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Keshura. Born in Quebec, Canada, Antoinette, “Toni”, lived in Fall River and Tiverton for most of her life and was a communicant at St. Anne’s, Sacred Heart, and Holy Ghost Churches.
She was an accomplished seamstress and also worked in the garment industry as a sewing machine operator at Shelburne Shirt and Floral Fashions. She was a retired member of the I.L.G.W.U.. She enjoyed homemaking, travel, the beach, reading and religious endeavors.
She is survived by two sons: Robert Keshura of Portsmouth, R.I.; Michael Keshura and his wife Ann Marie of Swansea; one daughter Mary Ann Fig of Norwich, CT; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Antoinette was the mother-in-law of the late Loretta Keshura, the grandmother of the late David Fig and the great-great-grandmother of the late Trace Callonas.
Her funeral mass will be held Thursday at10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Church, 750 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, private. Visitation and flowers omitted.
