(02/16/15) David F. Miserandino, 72, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Marshfield, MA passed away on February 3, 2015 at Health Park Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Janis S. (Flewelling) Miserandino. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Lydia A. (Ricci) Miserandino.
David was an Adjuster for Homeowners in Massachusetts and Florida. He was a graduate of Providence College and was employed in the insurance industry all of his life. “Coach Mez” as he was known was instrumental in developing the Marshfield Youth Football program. He coached the Marshfield Saints who he named for over 29 years with a record of 200 wins, 41 losses and 14 ties and over 15 Super BOWL games.
He was the loving father of Mark Miserandino of Missouri, Dean Miserandino of No. Olmstead, Ohio, Drew Miserandino of Plymouth, MA, Mandy Junior of Marshfield, MA, Danielle Salmaine of Marshfield, MA, Michelle Cushman of Marshfield, MA, Jason Cushman of West Newton, MA and Matthew Cushman of Merrimack, NH. Cherished grandfather of eleven. Caring brother of Diane L. Erban of Warwick, RI.
A Celebration of his life will be held in the Spring.
