(09/18/12) Rita J. (Gaboriault) Rattey, 92, a resident of St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, formerly of Mowry Street, Pawtucket, passed away Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leo W. Rattey for 63 years. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Ezechias and Della (Nolan) Gaboriault.
Mrs. Rattey was a payroll and accounting clerk for Murdock Webbing Co. in Central Falls until her retirement in 1980. She was a former communicant of St. Cecelia Parish and Notre Dame Parish.
She was the beloved mother of Phyllis A. Anderton and her husband William of Cumming, GA, Richard L. Rattey of North Providence, Jacqueline L. Charette and her husband Robert of Coventry and Elaine M. Noury and her husband Daniel of Greenville. Loving grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of twenty-one. She was the sister of the late Albert and Roland Gaboriault.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am in The Chapel of The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 4-8 pm at The Residence.
