(02/04/15) Katherine M. Gavitt, 76, of East Providence passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice L. (Bloomingburg) Gavitt.
Ms. Gavitt was a Transcriptionist for Kent Hospital until her retirement after 40 years of service. She was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School.
She was the beloved sister of Nancy J. Paiva and her husband Ronald of Barrington. Loving aunt of Mishell Middleton and her husband Ben and Marcus Paiva and his wife Dena. Cherished grandaunt of Michael, Sarah, Olivia and Troy.
Her funeral services will be private. Calling hours respectfully omitted.
