(02/02/15) Mary (Ferreira) Lambert-Silva, 96, of Crawford Street, West Warwick, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was the wife of the late Leonard J. Lambert and John R. Silva. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Alcina (DeCosta) Ferreira. She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.
Mrs. Silva was a textile weaver at the former Warwick Mills for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing and to tell stories of the thriving days of West Warwick.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa M. Appolonia and siblings, Albertina Hendershot, Manuel, Gilbert and Joseph Ferreira. She is survived by three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Louise Ferreira, Dora Lambert, Clara Ferreira and Dora Lambert and many nieces and nephews.
