(01/28/15) Cumberland – Claire H. (Berube) Goodrich, 93, of Cumberland died peacefully Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Woonsocket Health Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Louis C. Goodrich.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Adolphe and Ovilia (Landreville) Berube, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 55 years.
Mrs. Goodrich was a member of Christ Church, Lincoln, and a member of the Cumberland Terrace Association.
She is survived by one daughter, Gail H. Janis and her husband, Joseph of Rehoboth, MA; three sons, Louis N. Goodrich and his wife, Marie of Attleboro, MA, David A. Goodrich and his wife, Olga of Cumberland, and Robert M. Goodrich and his wife, Barbara of Woonsocket; one sister, Dorothy Berube of Woonsocket; one brother, Joseph Berube of Hartford, CT; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roger Berube, Normand Berube, Maurice Berube, Gloria Haggerty and Pauline Berube.
Her funeral and visitation will be held Saturday, January 31 from 8:30-10 A.M. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 10:30 A.M. in Christ Church, 1643 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Christ Church, P.O. Box 245, Lincoln, RI 02865 would be appreciated.
