(01/26/15) Clifford V. Brown, 71, of Colby Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at home. Born in Waterbury, CT, he was the husband of Dianne M. (Fontaine). They were married for twelve years. He was the son of the late Clifford A. and Viola E. (Sterry) Brown.
Clifford was a machinist for Saint-Gobine for many years. He was a US Airforce Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his wife he is survived by three children; Ronald W. Brown, Joanna L. Hinman and Jeffrey A. Brown and his wife Lauren, five stepchildren; Shay Sparks and her husband Rodney, Jill Omari and her husband Lewison, Stacy Warwick and her husband Michael, Michael Verrier and his wife Amanda and Matthew Verrier and his wife Jerika, a sister; Janice Murdock, thirty-two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. A US Military Honors Salute will be held at 1:00 pm. Burial will be private.
