(01/08/15) Patricia A. (Salter) Barr, 87, of Warwick passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late James Barr. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Ethel (Ashcroft) Salter.
Mrs. Barr was a Secretary for Amica Insurance Co. for 32 years until her retirement.
She was the beloved mother of David J. Barr and his wife Mary Rodgers of North Kingstown and Howard D. Barr of Conroe, TX. Loving grandmother of David J. Barr, Jr., Michael R. Barr, Hayley Barr, Keaton Barr, Jennifer Comerford and Dana Marie Spears. Cherished great grandmother of six. She was the sister of the late Carolyn Soderberg, Doris Keyes and Louise Morris.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 pm followed by a Funeral service at 2:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
