(09/12/12) Lincoln – Alfred H. Robertson, 79, of DuCarl Drive died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Sandra A. (Nerr) Robertson. Mr. and Mrs. Robertson were married for 37 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Alfred and Edith (Pollard) Robertson, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 54 years.
Mr. Robertson was an elevator technician for Westinghouse Elevators and later, Schindler Elevators, Providence, for 40 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of Local #39, Elevators Union and had served as its business agent.
He was an avid bowler and cribbage player. He was very involved with his grandson’s sports.
He was a U.S. Army medic during the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Dawn M. Bishop and her husband, Robert; and one grandson, Scott R. Bishop, all of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Scott A. Robertson and the brother of the late Audrey E. Maxwell.
His funeral service will be held SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 at 10 A.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
