(12/30/14) Pawtucket – Ida A. (Lech) Langlois, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard A. Langlois, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Belengo) Lech. Ida loved sewing and was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods and Twin River. Ida was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves two daughters, Diane R. Emond and her husband, Edward and Lisa A. Bedard and her fiancé, Jack all of Pawtucket; three sons, Gerard A. Langlois, Jr. and his wife, Maria of Pawtucket, David E. Langlois and his wife, Sonja of Severn, MD and Gary A. Langlois and his wife, Cindy of Providence; a sister, Rose Poirior in Arizona; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Chester Lech, Sophie Golka and Stacia Staisa. She was also predeceased by three late grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
