(12/16/14) Marilyn C. (Carlson) Schneider, 88, of Winnepaug Road, Westerly, passed away on December 15, 2014 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Meyer Michael Schneider. She is survived by her daughter, Georgann P. Casey of Washington, NH, her grandchildren, Micah Strode, Rachel Stockwell and Paul Casey III, her great-grandsons, Peyton Strode, Cyrus Sikes and George Pierce and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Schneider was born in Dayton, OH on July 13, 1926, the daughter of the late Bertrum and Dorothy Carlson. She became an English teacher and taught for many years at the Barrington High School of Rhode Island and Adelphi University of Long Island, NY.
Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home and Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly, RI.
