(12/15/14) Woonsocket – Gregory C. Terry, 62, of Woonsocket died Monday, December 15, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Therese (Gagnon) Terry. Mr. and Mrs. Terry celebrated their 39th anniversary this past April 25.
Born in Mullins, West Virginia, a son of the late Robert and Joanne (Haines) Terry, he had lived in Woonsocket for the past 39 years.
Greg was the maintenance manager for Ken’s Foods, Marlboro, Massachusetts for 25 years, retiring in 2012. Previously he had worked as a maintenance mechanic at the former Peterson-Puritan Company, Cumberland for 14 years.
He was a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Albion Social Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Christine Ryan and her husband, Scott, and Matthew Terry, all of Woonsocket; one sister, Carol Sue Bragg and one brother, Robert Dale Terry, both of Grandview, West Virginia; his two beloved grandchildren, Kendrick Terry and Cassidy Ryan; and many nieces and nephews.
His prayer service will be held Wednesday, December 17 at 8 P.M. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
