Gail (Thomson) Miller - Pawtucket, RI

(11/19/14) PAWTUCKET – Gail Miller, 77, of West Forest Avenue, died Monday, November 17, 2014, at Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry A. Miller. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Whitman) Thomson, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Miller worked as a Personnel Director at Walco Electric for many years before retiring. Prior to that, she had worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Bulova Watch Co. She was a graduate of Bryant College, Class of 1957. Alongside her husband, she was a member of YAGRS, a military reunion group. She was a member of the Maj. Walter Gatchell Post 306, V.F.W., and a former member of the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church. She is survived by two sons, Harry A. Miller, Jr. of Warwick, and Christopher “Kit” Miller of Rumford; one sister, Penelope Trottier of Pawtucket; one brother, Kurt Thomson of Pawtucket; two step grandchildren, Brady and Wes Moniz; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be celebrated, Monday, November 24, at 10:30 a.m. in BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
