(11/12/14) Pawtucket – Claire R. (Blanchette) Beaudette, 96, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Herve Beaudette. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Lionel and Mary (Lemieux) Blanchette, she resided in Central Falls before moving to Pawtucket over thirty-five years ago. Claire had been a housekeeper at the Wannamoisett Country Club, and was previously a winder at American Insulated Wire Company for twenty-five years and at the Joyal VanDale Company for twelve years. She leaves a son, Paul A. Beaudette and his wife, Alona Rotkovitch of Warwick; a daughter, Therese R. Stewart and her husband, Kevin of Holliston, MA; four grandchildren, Aaron Beaudette, Abigail Beaudette, Brian Stewart and Meredith Stewart-Carey and her husband, Hal Carey; two great-granddaughters, Claire Rose Carey and Reese Ann Carey and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ernest Blanchette, Albert J. Blanchette, Ernestine Hawkins, Elda E. Blanchette, Irene Cole, Rose Robinson, Romain J. Blanchette, Alfreda Richardson and Beatrice McKenna. VISITATION will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
