(10/27/14) Attleboro – Rhea L. (Fournier) Pouliot, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2014. She was the wife of the late Nazaire J. Pouliot. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Olevine (Lachance) Fournier. Rhea worked as a seamstress at Health-Tex for many years until her retirement. She was a hard worker who was devoted to her family. Rhea enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint, square-dancing and in her younger years, roller-skating at the former Bobby’s Rollaway, Pawtucket. She leaves six children, Raymond J. Pouliot and his wife, Mary Jo of East Providence, Normand J. Pouliot, Sr. and his wife, Jo-Ann of Cumberland, Dennis E. Pouliot, Sr. and his wife, Cynthia of North Providence, Patricia S. Souza and her husband, Patrick of Hawthorne, FL, Paul R. Pouliot and his wife, Lynn of North Providence and Pauline M. Zarembovicz and her husband, Bob of North Attleboro; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Pacheco. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
