(08/13/14) Geraldine “Geri” (Delzenero) von Maluski, 84, was granted her wish of eternal life with Noni and Papa and her brothers and sisters on Monday, August 11th.. She was the wife of the late Arthur von Maluski and proud mother of seven children and their families: Arthur (Helen and Drew), Lynn (John Force, Cari-Lynn Souza and Jack,Timothy,Craig and Christine), Gay Von (Paul Kenyon, Erica Bradbury and Nathan, and Jeremy Bradbury), Jay, Kris, Kevin (Tess, Sophie and Alexis), and Kim (Dave Parenteau).
Our mother was filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She was a living saint, yet very down to earth. Never had money, yet always had class and grace. She was the “straight-man” for our father’s life-long comedy routine. Her tiny Italian body contained an overflowing amount of love for everyone. Her constant prayer: “Lord, thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me and my family. God is good!”
The family wishes to thank all relatives, friends and caregivers who loved our mom throughout her life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 16th at St. Mary’s Church, 12 William St., Newport, RI 02840. Burial will be private.
