Isabelle V Tombello - Warwick, RI

(08/28/12) TOMBELLO, ISABELLE V. (Reale) died August 25 at Rhode Island Hospital, holding the hand of her daughter. No woman has fought death more fiercely, but yet accepted it most gratefully when it came. She was the dear wife of the late John Tombello and the devoted mother of her cherished children Lynn Ann Dressler, Richard and Allen Tombello. Mother in-law of Stephen B. Dressler and Julia Tombello and sister of Anthony Reale. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Appolonia Reale and the sister of the late Virginia Cotter and Jane Berrillo. A talented seamstress, as well as sales woman she worked for many years at Mal\\\\\\\'s Baby Store and Brodsky\\\\\\\'s as well as being a Fuller-Brush Sales Woman. She then became a Chief Cook for the State of Rhode Island serving in many schools in Providence and Cranston. In retirement she volunteered at Woman and Infants Hospital (From 1995 to 2006) receiving an award for 1400 hours of service. She was a former parishioner of St. Ann\\\\\\\'s Church, Cranston and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Warwick. Isabelle was well known for the thousands of delicious cakes, pies and cookies she passionately baked and gave away throughout the years to the countless angels that helped her on her long journey through life. The Staff and friends at Tamarisk Assisted Living made her last year an especially contented one. A woman of honesty, integrity, and tremendous faith her funeral procession will be held on FRIDAY AT 9 A.M. FROM \\\\\\\'\\\\\\\'WOODLAWN\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann\\\\\\\'s Church 1493 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. BURIAL WILL BE PRIVATE.
