(07/16/14) Henry G. Lavoie, 77, of Commonwealth Avenue, Warwick, RI, formerly of West Warwick, RI, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Kent Regency, Warwick, RI. Born in West Warwick, RI, he was the husband of Sylvia R. (Boudreau) Lavoie. They were married for fifty-seven years. He was the son of the late Joseph and Clara (Sokoloski) Lavoie.
Henry worked for Gorham Manufacturing for fifty years in the shipping department until retiring.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons; Donald Lavoie, Brian Lavoie and Steven Lavoie, two brothers; Norman Lavoie and Joseph Lavoie, a sister; Barbara Maloney, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
His services are under the direction of Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI and will be private.
