(07/10/14) AMATO, JOHN 80 of Cranston passed away peacefully Thursday July 10, 2014 with his wife of 61 years and family by his side.
John was the owner and operator of John\'s Catering Service for 44 years.. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
A man of integrity and principle who loved his family deeply, will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara Amato. Loving father of Larry Amato and Donna Fitzgerald. Loving grandfather of Jarred S. Amato, Zachary T. Amato and James T. Fitzgerald. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews and extended family.
His funeral service is Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. in \'\'WOODLAWN\'\' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston. Interment will follow in St. Ann\'s Cemetery. CALLING HOURS.
