(06/27/14) Albert J. Gosselin, 84, of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Cecilia L. (Carano) Gosselin. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Henault) Gosselin.
Mr. Gosselin was a Batch Operator for Hoescht Chemical for 25 years until his retirement and previously for Fruit of The Loom. He was a member of The Teamsters Union Local 251 and was very adept at construction. He was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed working in his yard and traveling.
He was the loving father of David A. Gosselin of Hartford, CT. Cherished grandfather of Michelle Gosselin and Jason LeBeau. He was the brother of the late Lorraine Mateau.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6-8 pm.
