(06/19/14) Lincoln – Oscar Dubois, 97, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Eva (Frese) Dubois. Born in Cumberland, he was a son of the late Joseph and Zelica (Aubuchon) Dubois. Oscar was a United States Army veteran of World War II and worked as a machinist at William Haskell Manufacturing for many years until his retirement in 1980. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Polish White Eagle’s Club and the American Legion. Oscar enjoyed listening and dancing to Polish Polka Music. He leaves five children, Debra A. Dubois and her husband, Michael D’Andries and Diane M. Matthews and her husband, Benjamin all of Bel Air, MD, Douglas C. Dubois and his wife, Lesley of Pawtucket, Dennis A. Dubois of Portland, ME and Darlene A. Horan and her husband, Richard of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Jamie-Lyn Dubois of Pawtucket and Benjamin Matthews, II of Portsmouth, NH; a great-grandson, Harlan Matthews; a sister, Anita O’Connor and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Archie, Joseph, Roland, Lillian, Florence, Bertha and Rose. VISITATION will begin on Saturday at 8 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph Church), 195 Walcott St, Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
