(06/16/14) Herbert P. Clinton, 65, of Pawtucket, RI, formerly of Dorchester, passed away at home on Friday, June 13, 2014, with his loving wife, Stephanie and daughter, Deborah by his side, and his dog, Izzy on his lap. He was the beloved husband of Stephanie C. (Collins) Clinton and the late Jean (Witt) Clinton. Born in Boston, the son of the late James and Grace (Jennings) Clinton, he was raised in Dorchester and had also resided in Franklin before moving to Pawtucket 14 years ago. Bert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury and was previously employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Dedham. Bert drove in demolition derbies as a young man and loved carpentry. He is the father of Steven, Brian and Patrick all at home, Shayne of Boston, James of New Bedford, Diana Mullins of Brockton, Deborah Arruda of Dedham, Tami Witherell in New York, Bert in Connecticut and Michael Shawn of Brockton. He is the stepdad of Brandy of Brockton and also leaves 13 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
