(06/12/14) North Kingstown - Hildegard “Hilda” Doran, 88, died Monday, June 9, 2014 at the West View Health Care Center in West Warwick.
Born in Nurnberg, Germany, a daughter of the late Heinz Lano and Betti Veitengruber, she worked as a chip inspector at Cherry Semi-Conductor for 12 years retiring in 1991. She previously was employed in the jewelry industry.
She is survived by two daughters: Frances Pepin of North Kingstown and Edna Doak of Silver Spring, MD; one son: Bernard Doran, Jr. of Cedar Hills, UT; nine grandchildren: Keith & Shawn Pepin, John & Stephanie Doak, Bradford Spicer, Barbra Turner, Mark, Steven & Sarah Doran and two great grandchildren: Dylan Spicer and Avangeline Pepin. She was the mother of the late Mary Trepanier and sister of the late Rudy, Alfred, Hans, Willi and Theo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 am in Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, Warwick. Interment in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown will be private.
