(06/02/14) Johnston – Jacqueline M. (Provonsil) Davies, 51, of Brown Avenue died Friday, May 30, 2014 at UMass Medical Center, Worcester, MA.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Mary J. (Mooney) Reynolds of Johnston and Kenneth R. Provonsil of Alabama, she had lived in Providence before moving to Johnston 19 years ago.
Mrs. Davies was a waitress and was the former owner of Axelrod Music in Providence and Johnston. She was a member of the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Kristina L. Davies and Katherine E. Davies, and one son, John A. Davies, all of Johnston; two brothers, Robert Reynolds of Florida and Kenneth Reynolds of Providence; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Keith Provonsil.
